Indications

  • Complements artificial insemination, all-in/all-out breeding, and early weaning programs.
  • Induces heat in prepuberal gilts and returns anestrous sows to heat to reduce nonproductive days 
  • Combination of PMSG and hCG mimics naturally occurring reproductive hormones, FSH and LH 
  • Anestrous sows treated at weaning are nearly 2x more likely to return to heat within 3-7 days than untreated sows 
  • Sow herds treated experienced 42% less anestrus, compared to untreated controls 
  • First parity P1) sows treated with P.G. 600 are four times more likely to cycle within seven days 
  • Reduced anestrus in P1 sows by 47% in research trials 
  • Research showed 46% more effective in returning sows to estrus within 7 days during hot weather months
