Description
Revalor-XS is a controlled release implant for steers fed in confinement which improves rate of gain and feed efficiency for up to 200 days.
Product Features
Unique implant with 4 uncoated and 6 coated pellets containing 4 mg of estradiol and 20 mg of trenbolone acetate.
Indications
Revalor-XS contains trenbolone acetate and estradiol in a slow-release delivery system which increases rate of weight gain and improves feed efficiency for up to 200 days in steers fed in confinement.
Administration and Dosage
Supplied in a cartridge of 10 doses of 10 pellets each in a sealed foil pouch. Store unopened product at or below 25oC (77oF). Avoid excessive heat and humidity. Open cartridges may be stored in the foil pouch protected from light in the refrigerator (2-8oC/36-47oF) for up to 6 months.
Route of Administration
The implant is placed under the skin on the posterior aspect of the ear by means of Rev-X Universal Applicator Tool available from Merck Animal Health.
Caution
A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating calves. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal. For complete information, refer to packaging insert.
