Camille Heersche, DMV

Dr. Camille Heersche is a veterinarian who earned her DVM from Kansas State University and began her career as a general practitioner in the Houston, Texas area. Here she pursued advanced training in dentistry, ultrasonography, and surgery. Within a few years, she promoted into medical management role for 16 clinics in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In this role, she developed a passion for supporting veterinarians and developing teams. This led into an operations management role, with a focus on business health, manager development and clinic support.

Throughout her career, Dr. Heersche has maintained a passion for developing people invested in the veterinary profession. This includes volunteer work through multiple veterinary leadership development programs to support the next generation of veterinary teams.

Dr. Heersche was drawn to Merck Animal Health because of its commitment to quality products, culture of continual process improvement and innovative solutions that support the wellbeing of pets and clinics that care for them. In her role as a Sr. Professional Services Veterinarian, she is dedicated to supporting both internal and external audiences in expanding their knowledge about Merck’s products and working towards improving the lives of pets.

Outside of her work, Dr. Heersche enjoys various activities including horseback riding, bodybuilding, fishing, and training dogs.
