Sr. Specialist, Sr. PV Veterinarian (Companion Animal Pharmacovigilance)

Dr. Tracey Rock is a seasoned veterinary professional with over 30 years of diverse experience in the animal health industry. She completed her undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University. Following graduation, Dr. Rock briefly entered private practice, where she honed her clinical skills before making a pivotal shift into the animal health sector.

Her industry career began in the pet food arena with Royal Canin, where she developed a foundational understanding of animal nutrition. This initial experience fueled her passion for improving animal health and welfare, leading her to the pharmaceutical side of the industry. Dr. Rock has held various roles at Fort Dodge Animal Health and Merck Animal Health, spanning marketing, sales, technical services, and ultimately pharmacovigilance. Dr. Rock’s extensive travel across the United States to train veterinary professionals on a variety of subjects allowed her to connect with countless individuals, sharing her knowledge and learning from their experience, fostering invaluable connections within the veterinary community.

In recent years, she transitioned to a focus on pharmacovigilance. And has gone from viewing the USA from the window of an airplane, to now working from her home office in western NY while enjoying the view of Lake Chautauqua.  It is from this perspective that her expertise in problem-solving has been instrumental in enhancing the safety and efficacy of veterinary pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Rock’s dedication to the veterinary profession, combined with her extensive industry knowledge, positions her as a respected leader, committed to advancing animal health through rigorous safety standards and collaborative education, ultimately ensuring that pets receive the best possible care.
