Here, we feature Lindsy Coker, sr. territory representative, U.S. Companion Animal Sales.

When Lindsy Coker came into the animal health industry, she knew her territory representative job was to sell product to customers, but she found that it was much more.

“Over time, I feel like I have become not just a sales representative to my customers, but also a business partner,” she said. “They look at me for answers of what’s going on in the industry today. I feel like I can help them … to better themselves and better the hospital.”

To Lindsy’s 8-year-old daughter, it’s the best job in the world. What is there not to love about spending each day with dogs and cats?

“I try to explain to her that it is way more involved than that,” Lindsy said.

While she enjoys bettering the health and welfare of our four-legged companions, Lindsy said working with her human customers is what she finds rewarding.

“I love getting up every morning and calling on my customers, and I think the biggest part of that is that they’re not just customers to me,” she said. “I’ve seen these customers grow from when they started in the industry just like I did, to now as successful business owners and veterinarians.”

At the end of the day, Lindsy said her goal – and the goal of her customers – is to do what’s best the pet and the pet parent.
