How to mix BRAVECTO QUANTUM

Watch the video to see how to constitute BRAVECTO QUANTUM prior to administration.

Due to the possibility of fast-growing puppies outgrowing the dose, the product was developed for dogs and puppies 6 months of age and older.1

A margin of safety study was performed and demonstrated safety at doses of 1X (15 mg/kg), 3X (45 mg/kg), and 5X (75 mg/kg) administered every 4 months for a total of 6 doses.2

In a well-controlled field study, BRAVECTO QUANTUM was used concurrently with other medications, such as vaccines, anthelmintics, antibiotics (including topical), steroids, analgesics, and anesthetics. No adverse reactions were observed from the concurrent use of BRAVECTO QUANTUM with other medications.1

The formulation is a suspension containing fluralaner powder, and an 18 G needle is required to ensure the suspension is accurately transferred from the vial into the syringe and from the syringe into the patient. Shake the fluralaner powder vial thoroughly.

Dogs should be dosed at 0.1 mL per kg (.045 mL per lb) of body weight. Dogs weighing 10 kg (22 lbs) should be injected with 1.0 mL; dogs weighing 15 kg (33 lbs) should be injected with 1.5 mL, etc.

Because the efficacy is sustained for an entire year* following administration, dogs can be teated whenever they are unprotected against fleas and ticks. Dogs will not require another dose of flea and tick treatment for 12 months* for the indicated parasites.1

Before every use, shake the constituted vial vigorously for 30 seconds to achieve a uniform suspension prior to drawing up a dose. The product should be administered within 2 minutes of being drawn into the syringe. Discard vial 3 months after first puncture.

The sterilization process used for the powder causes the glass to darken in color, which is not the case for the process used to sterilize the liquid vehicle.

The product is manufactured in Germany.
