Merck Animal Health Adds Universal Product Codes to Select Brands

Merck Animal Health has made a recent change to its packaging to ensure alignment with global supply and packaging standards. The Merck Animal Health brands that are impacted include Bravecto®, Salix®, Optimmune®, Mometamax®, and Posatex®. As a result of this change, you may notice that these products have transitioned from a 13-digit bar code to a new, 12-digit set of numbers. We made this change to better support our approved veterinary partners, and, despite the new look of the packaging, please be assured that product integrity has not been compromised in any way.
