A prescription hemagglutinin (HA) vaccine for sows is available through the SEQUIVITY custom vaccine platform. Using an HA vaccine in sows, in addition to using the IAV-S NA vaccine in growing pigs, provides young pigs extra protection on top of the protection they’ve received from the sow in the form of maternal antibodies.
