Dr. John Rehak has been in the animal health industry for over 20 years. Before joining Merck Animal Health, he earned his veterinary medical degree at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine and a master’s of business administration degree in finance at Tulane University.
In his previous position, Dr. Rehak held roles in marketing, brand and product management, sales training, technical services, and technical marketing. Dr. Rehak also has a clinical background; he practiced small animal medicine at a private practice in New Orleans, Louisiana. He currently serves on the curriculum advisory committee for the Veterinary Technology Program at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Rehak and his wife, Jennifer, live in Mobile, Alabama, with their two rescue dogs and a bird. Outside of his passion for animal health, Dr. Rehak’s interests include inshore saltwater fishing, biking, reading, and collecting first-edition books.
