Atrophic Rhinitis

Disease Overview

This is a respiratory disease in pigs that can lead to sneezing, atrophy of the turbinate bones, distortion of the nasal septum and shortening or twisting of the upper jaw.

Clinical Signs

• Sneezing
• Retching
• Nasal hemorrhage
• Watery nasal discharge
