Virtual fencing | The next evolution in range management

Good for wildlife, good for land, and good for our local rancher’s pocketbooks, virtual fencing is a win-win-win situation — giving it every reason to make its big debut in Washington. So how does the technology work? What problem is it trying to solve? Virtual fencing is GPS technology that allows cattle ranchers to build ‘virtual’ fences instead of physical barriers. This could be the next evolution in cattle and land management.
