Product Specifications

Administration

Administer 1 dose (0.5 mL) subcutaneously as early as 12 weeks of age, with a booster injection administered 1 year later. Revaccinate annually thereafter.1

Indication

This product has been shown to be effective for vaccination of healthy cats and dogs 12 weeks of age or older against rabies. Duration of Immunity is at least 1 year.1

What’s the difference between Nobivac NXT® 1-Rabies and Nobivac NXT® 3-Rabies?

Both vaccines are labeled for healthy cats and dogs 12 weeks of age or older and are administered as a subcutaneous injection.1,9 For both products, a booster dose is given one year after the initial vaccination.1,9 After that booster, pets vaccinated with Nobivac NXT® 1-Rabies are revaccinated annually, while pets vaccinated with Nobivac NXT® 3-Rabies are revaccinated every three years.1,9

How effective is Nobivac NXT® Rabies at protecting both cats and dogs?

Protection was demonstrated across four rabies challenge studies, including one-year and three-year duration of immunity studies in both cats and dogs. Across all four studies, 100% of vaccinated cats and dogs were protected following rabies virus challenge.1,2
