The leading producer of cattle implants trusted industry-wide.
For beef cattle, implants from Merck Animal Health improve productivity and revenue while making efficient use of resources.
Implants from Merck Animal Health can help strengthen beef cattle performance at every stage of production.
The benefits of consistent implanting add up.
Cattle implanted at each stage of production stand to gain up to an additional 195 pounds over the course of their lifetime when compared to non-implanted cattle.1 That’s a lot of extra gain with no additional grazing or feed resources.

Implant today, impact tomorrow.
There is mounting pressure to be more sustainable and many worry they will have to sacrifice their bottom line to do it. See how our growth-promoting implants can help you both achieve sustainability and turn a greater profit.

For cow-calf producers, pre-weaning implants have clear advantages.
There’s a perception that non-implanted calves garner a higher premium on sale day than their implanted counterparts. However, data consistently shows no difference in sale price between implanted and non-implanted calves.2

RALGRO® (zeranol) increases weaning weight by 23 pounds on average compared to non-implanted calves. With results like that, it’s easy to see how cattle implants at the cow-calf level can result in a favorable payday.3

Implants help stockers perform in the pasture and beyond.
Research has proven that when the right cattle implants are given at the correct stage, cattle will continue to perform in the following stage. That means implanting stocker cattle has no negative impact on future performance at the feedlot.

With an implant designed just for stocker cattle like REVALOR-G® (trenbolone acetate and estradiol), stockers on pasture gain an extra 23 pounds on average. And they maintain the added weight during the finishing period.3

For feedlot producers, implants capture critical gains at a critical time.
Cattle implanted at the feedlot stand to gain an additional 75 to 140 pounds over non-implanted cattle, using the same amount of resources. With the right implant, cattle can remain productive throughout the entire finishing period — no re-implanting necessary.

With a novel delayed-release technology that delivers two doses in a single implant, REVALOR-XS and -XH give feedlot steers and heifers the exact dosage they need when they need it. That means no added stress or loss of feed intake for cattle and no extra labor for producers.

Implant Today, Impact Tomorrow Producer Panel
At the 2022 NCBA Trade Show, cattle producers came together to discuss the overall impact of implants. Producers who participated in the panel discussed the opportunity for both improved environmental and financial sustainability through the use of cattle implants.
