Merck Animal Health is committed to helping cattle producers better manage their animals and reap the rewards.

From April – July 2024, we’re encouraging people to take the 50-pound challenge and tip the scales in their favor utilizing Merck Animal Health implants, parasiticides and vaccines in cattle spring turnout and summer health programs.

The Tip the Scales sweepstakes is fun and educational, and we are offering you several ways to get involved. We think your customers will like it and are hoping it will help drive traffic to your store.

Here’s how it works:

Twice-a-month we’ll promote a new quiz question on cattle management
Producers go to tip-the-scales-challenge.com to take the quiz
Then they enter the sweepstakes for a chance to win the grand prize – an Arrowquip chute
$500 cash prizes will be awarded twice-a-month

The site includes educational information and videos on calf management, and Merck Animal Health implants, parasiticides and vaccines. Producers visiting the site will be encouraged to buy products locally.

We encourage you to use these tools to help your customers better manage their cattle and potentially gain that 50-lb advantage:

Social media posts – each quiz has corresponding social media posts. We encourage you to use these in your social network. Plus, the graphics can be used for other newsletters or email communications. New posts will be posted twice-a-month.
Educational articles on implanting, parasite management and vaccinations. These are perfect information for your newsletters and emails that let you be that value-added information source.
Store merchandise. Check out our merchandising tab to find what you need for your store.
