Diedra Denise Clark, DVM, CCRP

Associate Director Scientific Affairs,
Veterinary Insights and Medical Affairs

Dr. D.D. Clark is a Senior Professional Services Veterinarian for Merck Animal Health’s US Companion Animal business, which she enjoys, and is completely committed to helping veterinarians and veterinary support staff. One of the biggest rewards of her profession is interacting and partnering with her veterinary accounts: she loves training support staff and bringing new information on Merck Animal Health’s products as well as current veterinary topics, to her customers. She also supports the company’s Learning and Development team as a new hire faculty trainer, and in her industry career, has supported marketing as a technical liaison for six products and two product launches. Dr. Clark is also certified in canine rehabilitation and physical therapy and has extensive public speaking experience.

Dr. Clark grew up in a veterinary clinic and around veterinary professionals – her role allows her to partner with multiple practices and sales representatives for their technical needs. Most importantly, it goes back to the wonderful people she works with every day, both her Merck colleagues and accounts.

Outside of her busy schedule, Dr. Clark likes spending time with Dexter, her big, much adored, orange and white shelter cat that makes her laugh every day, Cody, a tiny little tuxedo cat that has stolen her heart, and Atticus, a much-adored handsome gray and white lap cat. Enjoying time with her family, including her three much-loved nephews. Family fishing trips with regular trips to the Everglades and Canada.

“I love training in the clinic and sharing new information with veterinarians and our sales force. The opportunity to work with veterinarians and veterinary staff, training new hires, and technically supporting different products for marketing when needed makes my career extremely rewarding.”
