As a company dedicated to supporting our customers’ success and their objectives in the food and pet marketplace, Merck Animal Health recently participated in the Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) in Singapore June 13-15. The CGF is the largest organization of retailers and consumer packaged goods in the world. Its members collaborate to analyze current and future consumer trends to better understand the changes occurring in the consumer marketplace.

This was Merck Animal Health’s second year participating in the CGF, and our company was once again the only animal health company represented. Merck Animal Health colleagues who attended engaged with key leaders in the consumer industry such as Walmart, Cargill, Danone and Mars.

“This is a unique opportunity, as we have the chance to engage with representatives from retailers and consumer packed goods from all over the world,” Veterinary & Consumer Affairs Lead Judson Vasconcelos, DVM, said. “We work with them to better understand the direction of the consumer marketplace and expand our insights about it. By doing so, so we can continue to deliver products and services while creating partnerships that will help our customers be successful and remain relevant despite the rapid changes in the current marketplace.”
